Peach Dessert:
Just cut a peach in half and place a marshmallow in the middle. Sprinkle with brown sugar & coconut and grill until browned.
Healthy "fries":
Slice a potato into strips, cover with olive oil, and season to taste. Bake at 350oF until crisp.
Make lemonade!
Heat ½ cup of sugar and 2 quarts of water until the sugar dissolves. Add to ¾ cup of lemon juice, mix and chill.
Cantaloupe Cream:
Place the cantaloupe in the blender and blend until smooth. Pour over ice in tall glasses and serve.
Herb Butter:
If you have leftover fresh herbs, combine them with unsalted butter in a food processor and freeze to use on pasta or bread later.
Ice Cream:
Make your own ice cream sandwiches! Put a scoop of ice cream between 2 cookies and pop them in the freezer.
Bananas Over-ripe?
Freeze them to use later in banana pudding.
Ricotta and Honey:
Slice a baguette, brush slices with melted butter & grill until golden. Spread ricotta over the toasted bread, drizzle honey, top with a slice of ripe fig, fresh peach or nectarine, then serve.
Easy Starter or Sweet:
Unfold firm ricotta directly from the tub and serve with crackers. Sprinkle with fresh herbs & olive oil for a more savoury option. For a quick dessert, top with seasonal fruits and ground cinnamon.
